Kate Henshaw Nigerian born actress from Calabar, Cross River State. Born on July 19, 1971, is the oldest of four children.
In 2008, Kate won the Africa Movie Academy Award for best actress in a role for the film “stronger than pain” amidst other numerous accomplishments.
The 48 years old mother of one has evolved and stayed ageless through the years and it’s all linked to her fitness and beauty routines such as regular exercises, Spa appointments, facials, weekly body scrubs to mention a few.
When asked in one of her interviews, the fitness enthusiast said that she goes for massage once every week, she also revealed that ever since she discovered the benefits of exercising seven years ago, she has not visited a hospital.
Henshaw’s advocacy for wellness and black beauty through her new movement Figure K8 was birth to show the true beauty of the dark skinned woman ushering them to shine through with their natural undiluted beauty.
She said “In our new world, we often forget that the beauty of a black woman shines brighter in it’s original form. So this is to all Nubian Queens across the world”.
This movement have already established about 5000 plus followers on Instagram. And it has since garnered support & approval from her fellow celebrities and a large number of followers, could this be why we adore her? As it is in sync with the ethos of what Avila Natural stands for.
We decided to carry out a vox pop on the culture of exercise and regular beauty care:
Cynthia Odibeli said “I stopped exercising since August sadly so however from experience I realize that if you combine exercise with a regular beauty routine you’re in for an eternal glow as exercise opens your pores that way beauty products can work well”
Mrs Isabel okeke said “I do not engage in daily exercise routine, because I’m a very busy person, I’m always occupied with work and my kids but that not withstanding I try to exercise during the weekends if time permits me, however, I find exercising as a very paramount virtue everyone should emulate because it improves healthy living.
In summary it’s ok to say that exercising & regular natural skincare beauty routine for your skin complexion and periodic body treats is a vital trait and a must-do!
